I'm seeing a blank white page or a 500 error.

Almost always a permissions or configuration issue. Check that storage/ and bootstrap/cache/ are writable by the web server, and that your .env file has an APP_KEY set. Your host's error log (or storage/logs/laravel.log) will show the exact cause.

The setup wizard keeps redirecting me back to itself.

This means the installer hasn't finished — usually a failed database connection or a permission check that didn't pass. Re-check the values on the Database step, and confirm storage/ is writable.

Emails aren't sending (order confirmations, newsletter, etc.).

Configure your SMTP details under Admin → Settings → Email, then use the built-in Send test email button to confirm delivery before relying on it for real orders.

The AI buttons are greyed out / missing.

AI features stay hidden until a provider API key is saved and verified under Settings → AI Studio (see AI Studio Setup).

Can I run this on shared hosting?

Yes, as long as it meets the server requirements above and lets you point the domain at a public/ subfolder (or gives you SSH/terminal access to run the update commands when needed).

How do I change the store currency?

Under Settings → Currency, set the currency code and symbol, and choose whether the symbol appears before or after the amount.
